Wellness Program FAQs

  • How do I know if I am in Good health?

The best way to determine health status is to focus on getting the right screening and health assessments. I recommend and personally focus on primary prevention visits. This means focusing on identifying and treating issues before those problems develop into a disease. This usually involves having a visit 1-2 times per year to check core areas of health with functional testing and treat the levels that are suboptimal with diet, natural medicines, and lifestyle. Then follow up by repeating functional tests to ensure the plan is working.

Most individuals are more familiar with secondary prevention wellness visits which aim to reduce the impact of a disease or illness that has already occurred. This is the most common kind of wellness visit.

  • What Does the Wellness Program Include?

Dr. Threasa Andrys has developed an unique, comprehensive wellness screening that helps identify issues in 3 major system of the human body.

    1. Hormone Health Testing and Assessment

    2. Digestive Health Testing and Assessment

    3. Metabolic Health Testing and Assessment

The first visit will include a detailed health history, physical assessment and lab testing.

The second visit is 1 month later to go over testing and your health plan.

The third visit occurs 3-6 months later to assess abnormal finding if needed.

If things are in great shape then it is recommended 1-2 times per year screening depending on individual health goals and reports.

  • How do I Build and Maintain Good Health?

This is an individual journey, there is no cookie cutter recommendation. We all know that eating well, moving and sleeping are good foundations but this does not guarantee you are doing enough for your individual needs, genetics or lifestyle to maintain health.

Everyone is different and Dr. Threasa Andrys will help you make a plan that fits you and your lifestyle. Common wellness recommendations may be:

Eliminating and decreasing toxic environmental exposures physically and mentally. Cleansing may happen with the use of herbs, therapies or nutrients.

Building and restoring nutrition through diet and natural medicines.

Restoring hormone imbalances from physiological or environmental stress, lack of nutrients or poor elimination.
